    That's probably from around opening day of Epcot (Oct. 1, 1982). The Living Seas didn't open until January 15, 1986.

    Ahhh... no legacy clutter.. no stupid wand.. Horizons... World of Motion... Even WS looks bare with it missing quite a few countries and their structures.

    I prefer the insest rather than the present.

    Very cool pic. I like it. WS does look very bare, but I really like how FW looks. Like Tampa said... No legacy clutter and stupid wand. I'm another one of those people who would like to see SSE return to its 'au natural' state. I'm the same way with Cinderella Castle at MK. I hated the Cake-stle, and although I really think this 50th thing is very pretty, I will be even happier to see it reuturn to its good old white and blue splendor.

    I thought I was one of very few people who actually prefered the Castle in its natural state ..........without the 50th celebrations trimmings...having said that ........I do have a soft spot for the "PINK CAKE CASTLE" as this was what I saw on my first ever Disneyworld trip, as I walked up Mainstreet ,I was overcome at the magic of it all. You never forget that first view.
    But am so looking forward to seeing the Castle in November/December this year in it,s blue/white splendour.
    Can,t wait to see all the Xmas Tree,s & decorations too
    Can,t,t wait to see it all again
