Custom Sketch Watches?

Greetings! I am brand new to the board, though I have been listening to the podcast for some time. I am already overwhelmed by all the info here. I hate to ask a question as my first post, but it will help me in my souvenir budget for my upcoming trip.

I am hoping to buy one of the custom sketch watches. I have eyed them on my last 2 trips and have a little extra $ to spend when I go in April. My first question is - does anybody know of a site that shows the different options? I thought it would be good if I could make a choice before going. Also, does anybody know if you can get them unframed so you can just wear it & frame the sketch on your own?

I've never seen a website that WDW provides that shows information on the custom watches. My DH has been thinking about having one done as well. He's like you, he would want to wear it. I don't know why you couldn't get it unframed and do the framing of the art work when you return home. If I find anything on this I will let you know. In the mean time....have fun searching the boards!!

My mother got one for my father as a gift last year.. It was neat.. Came with the original sketch, a one of a kind cert, and the watch.. (he got Grumpy).. was't framed but we did frame the artwork... he wears the watch.. As for the websites.. I haven't seen any..

I have never seen anything for sketches for watches. The best place that I always look at is the watch store on Main Street USA or in the art store at the Marketplace. They sometimes have different sketches at different stores so look around a bit. :-)
