Everest at Night

Does anyone know if Everest is included in the evening Extra Magic Hours? If not...do you think it will be? I looked on the official Disney site and I didn't see it listed. We'll be down there at the end of June and just wondered.

I don't know for certain, but I would expect it to excluded. The animals in the park are always of top priority and Disney wants the evening to be quiet and relaxing for their most prized exhibits.

Hm...the official WDW site doesn't have it open for either morning or evening, and that makes me think that they haven't updated it yet. AllEarsNet says it's open for both. I don't know which it is, but I will ask a friend who was in WDW for Easter about it tomorrow.

I'm assuming it would be since it is popular. When the park was open til 8pm the other night, it was open and I went on it.

Attractions open for Extra Magic Hours at Animal Kingdom have changed somewhat. Expedition Everest has been added to the list of open Animal Kingdom attractions for both morning and evening Extra Magic Hours, while Discovery Island Trails have been deleted from the morning list and the Boneyard has been deleted from the evening.

Wow... Everest would be really cool at night! I guess for the full effect , winter would be best,since DAKs hours (even EMH) are not as late as other parks.

Thanks so much for the info guys. I'll have to check and see if we can get to AK one night that it is open later...and then head to another park or something since it closes earlier. Thanks again...I can't wait to ride Everest.

Yes, my friend said it was open for evening EMH as well...it looks like it's confirmed!
