    Exclamation Least busy...

Anyone have any idea what the park hours for March will be?

Also, in general, what parks are the least busy on each day?

Also, my plane gets into the Orlando Airport at 12noon. How long to you think it'll take to get our luggage? I don't want to waste a full day pass if I'm going to miss most of it (since we'll get there late). What would you suggest we do that day? (I don't want to lounge around the hotel pool...)

    Thanks.

Park hours for March will probably be posted by January on Disneyworld.com.

Often, the park that is the least busy is the park that had its extra magic hour (EMH) the day before. For example, Magic Kingdom has EMH on Sunday, and then is less busy on Monday.

Special events will change that pattern, of course.

And before you ask, here is the current schedule for EMH, subject to change:

    M agic Kingdom - Sunday
    A nimal Kingdom - Monday
    Disney-MGM Studios - Tuesday
    E pcot - Wednesday
    M agic Kingdom - Thursday
    A nimal Kingdom - Friday
    Disney-MGM Studios - Saturday

If you remember the "MADE MAD", you'll remember what park has EMH on what day.

When flying into Orlando, I've landed around 9:30 am, got luggage, picked up a rental car from Budget Fastbreak, and made it to resorts by 11 am. I don't know if you'd have to go through customs or anything, which could take longer.

Last trip, the car rental line at Alamo was well over an hour long. I've also waited more than an hour for Mears.

Luggage is always pretty quick, though. Orlando airport has multiple terminal buildings connected by monorails. By the time you get from your arrival gate to the monorail and then to the baggage claim (with a quick stop at a restroom), there is only a short (5 min.) wait for the bags to start coming out.

You can always go to downtown Disney on your first day.

    Spring Break

The problem is that every school has a different date. I would stay away Easter week, and one week before and one week after. Otherwise you'll get crowds and crowds of kids of every age.

don't forget...tomorrow is Talk like a pirate day!
