How's it done? Cindy's Castle
I was wondering how they light up Cinderella's Castle and make all the color changes. Do they use fiber optics, or something else? Anyone know?

This is just my opinion, but it appears that the castle is lit by several strategically placed spotlights that are possibly equipped with various colorized filters. I never looked for the sources, but I'm sure I could probably find them on my next trip.
...I just took a peek at one of my night-time shots of the castle, and it looks like some of the spotlights may be on the upper portion of the castle itself (behind some of the turrets), and some others appear to be placed along the edge of the moat. ...Again, this is just a guess.

I have seen big reflector floodlights before, but none recently; that's why I was asking about the lighting system.

If you guys want to know where the lights are, go to either of the sides of the castle and look in the moat. They are low and camouflaged pretty well!

You're all right on this one. There are lights on the grass in front of some shurbs near the moat facing the castle which are used at night and during Wishes. Also, there are lights on top of buildings surrounding the area as well as on the castle itself that change the castle colors. I don't remember exactly, but there are thousands of different light schemes that Disney uses on the castle, too!

Not stupid, there are a quite a few abbreviations us Disney fans like to use.
MNSSHP= Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party.
