Are you thinking of the DisneyLand attraction Adventure thru Inner Space? http://www.yesterland.com/innersp.html

I don't think there was anything similar at Walt Disney World.

Sorry, Jedi, but it never was at WDW. Tomorrowland in the 70's had Flight to the Moon/Mission to Mars where Stitch is now, a 360 degree movie where the Timekeeper's building is now, and If You Had Wings where Buzz is, Space Mountain, the skyway station, and the cars.

LOL no problem. You're not alone there - I had to look it up AND check with Lou to be sure before answering

It was Monsanto's Adventure Into Inner Space. Scared me to heart attack the first couple times i rode it. It is now Star Tours and they kept the queue area basically the same.

This site is like totally dedicated to the ride and has lots of info on the ride.

    Yup, what ^^ said.

I love it a lot. There's also a little ATIS cameo in Star Tours.

During the scene where Rex is about to take off, he falls into a storage area. Right before he blasts out into space, look to the right and you see the tip to the Mighty Microscope.
