    Hey I was just wondering if anyone knew if its Illegal to sell your own photos that you took of DisneyWorld or Disneyland

    I think it is illegal, unless you have permission from Disney.

    I purchased two photos from someones personal collection at the disney meet. He has a website, so I guess people do it.

    Disney doesn't have to post it. It's part of <a href="http://www.photosecrets.com/tips.cantsell.html">US Copyright law.</a>

    Artwork
    Does your photo include artwork? Pictures that feature recognizable artistic things such as paintings, murals, photos, logos, sculptures, advertisements and cartoon characters have an underlying copyright. Since artwork is copyrighted material, you would need a written release from the copyright owner to sell the image for commercial purposes. Editorial and other fair use purposes may be OK, and sometimes you can submit a photo for editorial purposes only. But generally stock agencies don't want to be limited by a photo's application. Logos are more restrictive, as they are protected by trademark law and companies are unlikely to grant usage.

    Thanks for posting that information! I love photography, but was never aware of that. Wow... you really have to be careful about everything these days. Everything has a law protecting it.

    You are more than welcome! I dabble in photography myself, and I had to learn these things to shoot some weddings at recognizable locations (like disney themes and such)
