    Castle repainting...pink?

Does anyone know if Disney is repainting Cinderella's castle to be a light pink-ish shade (a la Sleeping Beauty's castle in France)? When I went today it was multi colored if you looked at it long enough, some panels were the characteristic light blue and some were the light pink. When my bf gives me back my camera I can post a pic showing it. Thoughts?

Was always kinda partial to Fauna myself--she reminded me of a nice old gal who used to live in the neighborhood.

All sentiments of fairy intervention aside, here's a vote for keeping it the classic gray. One of those little things I used to cherish on day one at WDW was (heck, still is) cruising over the Seven Seas Lagoon, and watching as the castle seemed to change from gray to ivory white depending on how the sun was shining.

There is much to be said for those basic neutral shades........

you know what...mandy called me about 30 minutes ago and said the same thing...that it looked pink. Sometimes, our computer decides that it will keep it's lights on and the first color is usually pink (and it doesn't switch until it's darker outside) so I told her that it was probably the lights...BUT Imagineers have had a "brain fart" recently and maybe they are actually painting the castle pink...I will make a phone call

I didn't mind the gold stuff, and I know most of you didn't like it but I didn't mind the mirror either. But honestly, I must put my foot down on this one.

    NO PINK!!!!!!!!!!!!

I do not have verbal confirmation yet (left a voice mail) but what I read on our cas site is that there is a new color scheme that is going to be implemented to enhance the visual experience for guest visiting the Magic Kingdom Park. Our site did not give what that color scheme is but just that it is new. I will get back to you on this when I receive verbal confirmation from Imagineering.

I have seen on another web site that it may be getting the look of the TDL castle. That castle is brownish and the effect reaaly looks like stone

But this didnt look like stone, it just looked like....pink. And pink makes me sad because it was that bluish gray that set ours apart. AHHH! ENOUGH FOOLING WITH THE CASTLE, DISNEY!!!!

Guys and gals, I'm going to Home Depot and buying a bunch of Castle Gray paint from the Disney Collection there. If they do paint the Castle gray, I plan on showing up with some paint rollers and a few 5 gallon buckets of paint and fixing it myself.

    Who's with me?!?!?!???!??!!??!?

Is it really vandalism if you are returning it to the way it is supposed to be??

I'll dress in a Mickey shirt and carry three cameras and a fanny pack. I should blend right in.
