Is Epcot adding a new country? If so, which one and when will it be open?

People have been speculating about new Epcot countries for awhile, but I haven't heard anything sustantial yet. Anyone else?

If they do add a country, I'd hope that they would add Switzerland. It was one of the original countries to be built and never did. Walt loved the country as it gave him the idea of building the Matterhorn at DL.

I lived in Geneva, Switzerland for 4 years and would love to be able to see this built in Epcot. They could have so many options in building it too. The architecture there is amazing and could have beautiful flower boxes in the windows and the classic building style. There are also three (?) official languages in Switzerland, so it would showcase many cultures in one country. I would just love to see this beauty come closer for me, and see it built!

Scott, you need to come visit us in Berne, Indiana, a friendly Swiss community that has a mostly Amish and Mennonite population. We have our annual Swiss Days Celebration the last weekend in July. Lots of Brats and Swiss Cheese and Apple Dumplings!

That would be awesome. Where in Indiana is that? I'm an hour west of Chicago now, so my parents would probably love to check that out. Also when does that celebration go on?

We go to New Glarus in Wisconsin as it too is a Swiss settlement town. All the architecture is Swiss there (it's more the German Swiss though) and it's in the hills, so it's the closest to Switzerland for me right now.
