I think it's worth it! You spend that much to go to a rock concert. Cirque has the hot beefy guy! That alone was worth my money! :grin:

My sister went a few years ago when she had purchased the platinum package (not sure if it's still available but she was able to eat anywhere and got Cirque tickets and a spa treatment included). She said it's totally worth it to go!
I have been several times and want to go again. La Nouba is definitely worth the money. Each time I see it, I notice something completely different.
And someone throw some cold water on lorilovestigger!!! :grin:
Lori, if you're talking about the guy with the silks, ya...he alone is worth the price of a ticket. But I don't think I'll ever forget the first time I watched the trampoline segment. Awesome!
Sit where you can afford to sit. I don't recommend front row seats till you've seen several performances. Sitting so close cuts down on your peripheral vision and there is too much going on all over the stage to be looking at one spot for any length of time. Of course, you do get a great view of the leanest bodies on the planet, and can actually see the performers sweat. They make everything look effortless.
I think you have to look at what you consider good entertainment value. If you've seen any of the Cirque specials on TV or have rented a video of any of the Cirque productions, and enjoy it, then you'll really love La Nouba. Seeing a live performance makes the videos pale. We've seen La Nouba 5 times, and have seen other Cirque touring performances three times. Each time we're left breathless.
Absolutely worth it.
Next time we go, I will be aiming for seats in section 202 or 206 (category 2), as far forward and toward center as possible.
If you're looking for category 1, I think sections 203, 204 and 205 are better than 102 and 104.
As mini-V mentioned, if you sit too close, you'll miss a lot of the show. You'll be so entranced with the main act, you won't even notice all the cool stuff going on all around you.
For instance: I didn't realize that the music was performed live until our second trip. I knew the singing was live, but didn't see the musicians hiding up high on the side of the stage. That was a cool moment.
I agree.. its a great show and I would spend the money again.
They offer discounts for DVC, passholder and military - so be sure to see if you can grab soem extra savings for better seats if you qualify.

It's quite subjective of course, but let me put it this way. If you think anything Hollywood has produced in the past five years or so is worth $10, then yes, La Nouba is well worth $70.
In 2005 I took my godson David to see La Nouba and we both thoroughly enjoyed it. I feel it was well worth the money. If my neighbor Linda and I ever take a trip together to WDW, we'll go see it, she's a big cirque fan, so I would see it a 2nd time without any problem.
I don't agree with any of you! There is NOTHING and I mean NOTHING worth paying $70 to go see;pertaining to a show or concert.GREED I tell you,GREED!!!!! Say what you will a circus is a circus.Not worth $70.I'd rather go to DisneyQuest.

Saw it last week and it was well worth the money. Section or Catagory 2 is a good area to be seated in. I gave my daughter the aisle seat and she loved how they would run up and down her aisle. You feel close to the show/action. You can even hear their feet on stage as they do their acrobatics.

I am well aware that the Cirque Du Solei shows are comepletely different than your typical circuses,such as Ringling Bros and Barnum and Bailey types,especially since I watched some on the Bravo channel that time.But I guess for me it's more of a money issue than anything else.I would much rather pay the $75 or whatever it is,to go to one of the four Disney parks than to pay the $70 to sit and watch a circus/show.Or pay approx 1/2 of one admission to La Nouba and get two admissions to DisneyQuest.

I for one think it is worth it. Me and my DH went to the show when we were there for our honeymoon and we are taking our 4 year old and my mom to the show when we go down.
Park Hopper Dad- they did show La Nouba on the Bravo channel. Its just that it a different type of entertainment and and I think that the money is worth it for show that you get.
