R.I.P. Downtown Disney Virgin Store

We were crushed to visit DD the other day, only to find the Virgin Store a victim of the economy, never to open again. I can't even remember how many hours we would kill in there before movies or waiting out a rainstorm, or how many $10 movies I found in the discount bins. Let's hope they put something worth while in its place.

I hope it is something really cool in the building,something on the lines as DisneyQuest,but even better than that.

I was JUST about to post this thread...

We went to DD SPECIFICLY for this store, and there was this big ugly sign that said its never opening again.

it was an amazing store, and I mean AMAZING.

I think they have closed all of the Virgin stores. I work across the street from the one in downtown Denver and it closed a few weeks ago.

Are there other Virgin stores not in DD that are still in exsistence? Anyway it is ashame- very good selection of books and goods- moreso than Borders or Barnes and Noble.
