ok, can i bring my own dress for her to wear??? or must i buy theirs.. and what do you do to make ressies.. do you pay for it up front.. if so i will have to wait for my paycheck...lol cause the hubby will freak..lol

From what I've always heard, you are allowed to bring your own dress from home for her to wear. To make reservations you can call 407-WDW-DINE or WDW-STYLE (939-7895). I would recommend checking out allears for more info...you can check out their "rate and review" section to see what other families that have done it have said. I know I've read some of them before and most families seem to love it...I'm sure your daughter would have a blast. Definitely make reservations. Make sure you dress her up before you go in, so you don't ruin her hair (though the amount of hairspray they use...her hair should last a week..honestly). When i had it done in '08 (yeh...i was definitely the oldest there...but apparently they do weddings and whatnot as well) it was paid for after they were done. Booking a reservation may also depend on where you want to have it done (The BBB in the castle might be more booked than in DTD). Have fun and take lots of pics :) all of you will love it

:-DHi there :)First thing you need to do is call and make an appointment, you can either go to the one at Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom or Downtown Disney. I would think that your child would perfer the Disney Castle. It's really nice for them to come out all done up from the Castle area.
Also you can bring your own dress and she should wear there. You can pay ahead a portion or pay when you are done I believe. You may want to make sure on this when you call for your appointment.
When they have finished with your child she will get a sash to wear and they also put on jewels on her made up face and pixie dust in her hair too. :)It's really adorable. I wish you the best, she/he will enjoy it for sure. Take Care Now.:mickeykid

My girls really enjoyed the experience.
We brought our dresses.
I purchased them for about $18 each at Burlington Coat Factory.
I also found crowns and brought them. You have a pick of hair styles to chose from. I found out one includes the crown.
They felt very special afterwards.
It was expensive but worth the once in a lifetime experience!

i called today and got her in.. valentines day at 10:40 at DTD.. it was going to be nearly 6pm at the castle.. and i wanted it done early so she could enjoy being a lil princess all day.. :bdaymic:
oh and they said that when we get there.. DTD BBB will have just reopened from its refurb.. so it will all be brand new :grin:

it was funny the cm was like are you celebrating anything special like a birthday.. and i was like no.. then i was like well yes.. its valentines day :)
im not telling her.. its a surprise and i cant wait for her see.. im so excited
She is going to be sooooo excited!!! and she could probably dress up the next day no problem...like I said, with all the hairspray, there should be no problem getting a few days wear out of it (but it may depend on the hairstyle...im thinking the fairytale princess one). Little princesses are so cute :)
