Circle D Ranch- Horseback Riding

I thought that the circle d ranch was great! If anyone doenst know where it is it's at the Fort Wilderness Resort! I had an amazing time riding the horses through the wilderness, and getting to know my horse! Tell me what you think about this experience!

I've done the trail ride once or twice. It was ok from what I remember, but from an experienced horsewoman's point of view, if you've ridden horses or have a horse of your own, this probably isn't a very interesting or challenging ride. Its just very beginner and may not be as fun to those with riding experience.

If you're a first time rider though, a younger kid, or haven't ridden very often, its probably an excellent thing to do.

We take the kids over and do the pony rides. At $5 it is a cheap fun thing to do while we camp at the Fort.

The ride itsself is around thirty minutes, the entire experience takes between 45 minutes and a hour, from what I remember. We just got back from the World, and the price is now $45.00 a person. Just in case it applies to anyone, there is a weight limit of 250 pounds. We all weren't able to ride in our party, so we rode the surrey bikes instead
