    First time Pleasure Islander...

So although I've been going to WDW since I was born and I'm going to disneyland for the first time in May, I am going to PI for the first time on Saturday.

So I was wondering what everyone would tell me about it. I'm going clubbing actually, not just to hang out, and with a group of about 12 people, so I'm kinda looking forward to it.

What is everyone's favorite club? Best drinks? Best clubs? Most amusing secrets? Also prices? Drinks/Tickets? Thanks!

    Please share.

Wow... strange that this got no replies in time for your trip. Sorry!

Unfortunately, even if I had found this thread in time to catch you, I'd have little to say about it myself. I've only been to PI once, and it was when I was like 12 or 13, when my mom took me with her to go see the Comedy Warehouse. I remember very little of the show for the most part. i remember laughing, but not finding it overly hilarious. but judging by what i've read about it since then, i expect that the reason i didn't find it too incredibly funny was probably because I wouldn't understand a lot of the humor at that age. I've also heard that the shows get funnier (and rowdier?) as they get later in the evening.

Aside from CW, I know nothing at all about PI, and would be eager to learn more myself. I've heard some stuff about Adventurer's Club and the names of some of the dance clubs and stuff, but because I don't drink, and I'm not really a dancer/clubber, I never really took too much interest in PI in general. It just sounds too "grown up" for me, even now.

I loved the Adventurer's Club. There is a lot to look at and the show is very good also! I would go back just for that show if I could.

I had fun at PI. :-) I'll probably end up buying an AP to it. Yay! :-)

I know you said you were going to PI mainly for the clubbing, but did you by any chance see anything that a "boring stiff" like myself could keep entertained with?

You would probably love the Adventurer's Club. :-) It's more a show than dancing or anything. There is no dancing. :-)

Anyway, also the Comedy Warehouse is supposedly "Whose line is it anyway" so if you like that show, you may like that. I haven't been there yet, but hopefully I'm going one day this week. :-)

Yeah, I've been to CW when i was younger. it was ok, but like I said a couple posts ago, i didn't think it was the best improv i've seen (i've 3 guys from whose line in person; wayne brady, colin mochrie, and brad sherwood... and they are so much funnier than what i saw at CW). but then again, maybe I just didn't get the jokes when i was 13.) So really it's just AC that I might be interested in heading over to see, but I don't know if it in itself would be worth the cost of admission to me. I was hoping maybe you could convince me to try it.

Well, I definitely thought it was worth it. I'm buying an AP, if that tells you anything. :-) It's definitely a lot of fun. I have Spring Break this week so I plan on probably buying my AP and spending a couple nights there this week. :-)

Anyway, I loved Motion and my friends all loved the drinks who are 21. :-) It was a nice variety of ages though. :-)

I was about to ask if you were going to be staying at Disney during your spring break, but I see that you are in Celebration, so you don't exactly have to travel far to get there, haha. I've got my spring break there the following week. I can't wait. I'm staying at Pop Century. My gf will be joining me around her work schedule, and my roommate will be meeting me there partway through the week, but for a while there I'm going to be partying solo... but that's ok, I don't mind doing Disney that way. it gives me time to explore! Ya know... I'm sure my roommate would like PI. He doesn't really party or go clubbing or anything, but I know he appreciates a drink from time to time...

I'm not one for clubbing or partying but it definitely was amusing and the Rock n Roll Beach Club had great music. :-)

But yes, I live in Celebration so it is close enough. :-) lol. It's only a 10 minute drive to AK & MGM from here. Epcot takes about 15 and MK takes about 20, so it's a great place to live. :-)

I'm 1 hour 20 mins from MK, and a few minutes less to each of the other parks. I usually do day trips on weekends (every week, or every other week depending on my schedule). But I haven't stayed for more than two days in a row since.... I can't even remember. So I'm am incredibly amped to be going to stay for 8 days! And hey, if you think you might be headed over that way while I'm down there, let me know before I leave for break and maybe we can arrange to have a run in someplace.

Definitely! I have no clue what my schedule is most of the time. I'm busy at school with being an RA and when stuff comes up, you deal with it. I normally get to the parks every couple weeks. I was there on thursday and now that I'm on Spring Break i'll probably be there all next week, well most days at least. :-)

Hey... I just checked your profile. It looks to me like you'll be turning 21 during my spring break. That sounds to me like you have more than enough of an excuse to get away and have some fun!

I was just wandering if anyone knows if the comedy warehouse is "family friendly"? Otherwards, is the language bad or are the improve's normally dirty or vulgar? My husband and I were wondering.
