Re: Grand Camping Adventure
I'm kind of excited that I can bring my babies on vacation with me too. See how they handle Florida weather, bugs and whatnot.

Especially the whatnot!!
Re: Grand Camping Adventure
I have always thought this would be fun. Now that I will travel with 3 boys and DH, this is more of a possibility. However, I would prefer to stay in the cabin and rough it that way- they can stay outside! lol

Not my worry, but I do worry. What if the pups don't do well with hot weather and bugs. What if they can't handle the whatnot?! What do they do when you go to the parks?
Re: Grand Camping Adventure
After 20 years of sleeping in dirt around the world, I'll stick with a vacation home for roughing it at WDW.
Re: Grand Camping Adventure
We have decided to join the adventure! :yahoo: (from the comfort of a DVC resort)

After many years of being a camp counselor and camping - my idea of camping now translates to comfort of DVC studio without the silverware and dishes :D
Re: Grand Camping Adventure
did tent camping at fw about 10 ish years ago. my family had 2 rvs that they hooked up, but me and the ex bf wanted to have our "own" place. so we had the tent, no air bed, just lots of blankets and pillows. i was very sore sleeping on the ground, but it was fun to have the sunlight wake u up in the morning...not so fun to have rain at night wake u up. we were close to the comfort stations for showers and laundry, which was nice. great area near the small river, we were far from the pool though. it was fun and i cant wait til my dd is old enough in another couple years to go and try it. although, i may decide for a rv then....lol have a great trip cant wait to hear more

In case you don't know Jaime or myself we like doing things with a certain amount of panache. <insert glitz and glitter raining down from the ceiling>
We're talking an event. We're creating a logo for our event. We even have an 'official' name.
We have been investigating tents and renting an RV, for the pups and in case of foul weather.
Also looking into doing something very special and exclusive. Its in the works. Glad I have people....just sayin.:yahoo::yahoo:
