Our bus driver Mark.

This past October we were at Old Key West for our honeymoon. We had dinner reservations for Narcocces at the Grand Floridian. So we left enough time for a ride to MK than a quick Monorail ride to GF. We were talking to Mark about our plans. We were the only ones on the bus. The next thing we noticed we were at the Grand Floridian with enough time to spare to walk around and catch Wishes from the boat dock at GF. This night was truly magical and being at our reservation earlier than usual turned out to be a good thing. Thank you Mark for going that extra mile to make this possible.:mickeykid

Sounds like you were blessed with a Magical Moment. :yahoo: Betting Bus Drivers are rarely able to preform those.

Maybe I missed something, but what did the bus driver do?

*Honeymoon couple.

*They were at OKW.

*Boarded bus to MK and intended to Monorail over to GF.

*They were only people on bus.

*Bus driver drove them Directly to GF instead of MK.

*Because of the random Magical Moment they were able to see Wishes from GF Beach before their dinner ressies.

I've had drivers take me directly to my hotel before when no one else was on the bus. Never saw it as a major milestone in transportation history.

Awe, it was a sweet gesture, go with the love.

I think that was very sweet of him!

Congrats and that's why we love Disney.

Awesome story. Those are the experiences that make an otherwise special memory even better. The bus drivers have a pretty much banal job when it comes to guest service, but I love to hear stories like this.:musa:

We had a great driver during our trip. His name was Steve and he asked Disney trivia questions during our ride to EPCOT. The dude was VERY funny! He made the trip go by very quickly.

Those Disney bus drivers don't get enough credit for the awesome job they do! Its such a shame that they have the recordings now so that most drivers dont even get to interact with guests.
