Hey I'm doing the college program this coming August to January....I will be working Quick Service food....anyone ever done that job? I was pretty bummed when i found out about it so I want to know what your opinions about it are

I was an MKCP back in 1990. I worked in Fantasyland Foods right in the heart of the Magic Kingdom. To this day, that was the funnest, happiest, most rewarding job I have ever had. I wish I were still working there, and for what it is worth, I'm a Software Engineer but would love to still be working at Disney in food service.
Trust me, you will have the best time of your life.

I've never done quick service food. I was a merchandise hostess for the Emporium in the Magic Kingdom. All that I can say is that is very tyring and somedays you will have to do things you don't like very much, but the experience of working for Disney and the friends you make during your stay are the best times I've ever had. I highly recommend it. Just remember not to drink from the clear cups at Pleasure Island if you are under 21!!
And have fun, fun, fun and enjoy the parks as much as you can, you get free entry with your CP ID!!! This was the biggest perk I had during my program and I took advantage of it every day I had off (unless I was doing laundry, LOL).
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. I am more than glad to share my experience with you.
