I would really like to get a part-time job at WDW. I don't really have anything particular in mind other than something in park operations. Is there a general way to apply for a position, or do I need to go in there with a specific job in mind? Thanks.
Park Operations as in Attractions, Food Service, Merchandise? When you go to the Casting Building and meet with your recruiter, you can tell them that you want something in a park (even pick your park) and then they will tell you if there is availability. I'm sure that you DREAM about doing one position in particular, so I would go for that and then if it's not available ask what is and you can pick an choose a little. Definately go in with a narrowed position in mind and you can always broaden that position with availability. Call Casting at 407.828.1000 and schedule an interview. Is there a minimum amount of shifts you have to work to keep a cast member job?
I think you have to be available for at least two full days out of your week, and be able to commit to at LEAST 8 hrs of those days.Quote:

Yes, I think she was (is) considered seasonal.
I talked to casting today. For seasonal, you have to commit to 4-6 weeks full time to get your seasonal status. Then, you can sort of pick and choose when you want to work. For part time, you have to commit to two full days a week.:thumbs:
