Is there a secret CM lingo?
yes!! there is.
and as you can see she is doing her part to keep it that way
I had a feeling that was going to be the response. I should have known better. :)
"Hey Doc it hurts when i do this" * enagges in actvity*"
"well then" says the doc, "don't do that".
Just coming across this....(late!)
It's called Disney-ese, and like Jeanne said, if you wanna learn it, become a CM! :) :D
Boy! You guys are tough. Talk about well versed in the Disney corporate line. (Don't worry. I won't let break the code either.)
I found something the other day on the wonderful wikipedia that you may all enjoy. Whether or not it is accurate is another story (Maybe one of our Cast Member friends could correct any errors? Ha).
Disney jargon: Information from Answers.com
Hmm. :scratchin Interesting link, indeed.
The explanation at the top of the page was very good.
As for the definitions of terms and abbreviations: I will just say that some of it is correct, and some of it is incorrect. As for telling which parts are correct and which parts are not... Not gonna say :sneaky: Mostly because, there is a reason why we keep things secret from Guests, for their own benefit and enjoyment , so-- I will neither confirm nor deny individual parts of that list, other than to say that some of it is right, and some of it is wrong.
Hope that helps! :cookie:
Oh well I tried. You can't really trust anything on Wikipedia anyway. Hopefully I will find out what this "Lingo" is for myself someday soon. Until then, I guess it's still a mystery!
Here's some I'm willing to share: If you ever see a cast member rub their stomach, it means their hungry. If you ever see a cast member rub their stomach and pat their head at the same time, that means they're able to multi-task. If you ever see a cast member picking their nose, it means that they're hungry and found a quick snack.
