Depends on what position you are holding.
I know my son while CP'ing was paid Florida minimum wage. And FL was less than Illinois. It was a shock to his pocket book. :mickeykid
CP's get far less than full-time permanent employees. And it does depend on what you are doing. If you are a ride operator, work in merchandising (stores) etc. You're not going to make a living at it. If you are a character your pay depends on if you are a "face" character or not (face characters don't wear the full customes, ie a princess). Face Characters make more, parade performers do slightly better than min wage.
From what I saw.. It ranges from $8-10 an hour depending on your position!
Well you h aven't worked there in a few years!
Look here.. Walt Disney World Career Opportunities
I found ones that are like 7.50... but also some that are almost 11. They all depend on the experience/training you have!
I was attractions, and their starting wage now is 7.35. I'm not exactly sure what their starting wage was when I started working there, so I can't say if I was making starting wage, or below it, but it was definately below today's starting wage. You also have to factor in taxes and union dues you'll have to pay per check, so you're really not getting as much as they say you are.
So Donald Duck, what was your roommate doing as a CP that was $8/hr?
He's a photographer.
Like everyone is saying its all about the positiion. You may try to type in the serch task bar several different questions and you may find the answer. Example:
type something like this:
What do Disney Employees make as full time or:
Disney Wages,
when you find out the position then use it .
or:
Working full time for disney
remember all is questionable to you are told how much ya are maken...:D
