if its ones dream it isnt silly at all.. because i always dream one day i will move down south and work at one of their spas or bbb, the barber shop, or do their wigs or something
I just wanted to throw some stuff to my friends at WDWRadio to see what sticks. I've decided that I'm going to audition for a musician position during the musician bi-monthly open call about a year from now.
A little bit of perspective on this: one year from now I will, well should, be receiving my Associate's Degree from a local community college here in Idaho in Elementary Education. From that point I have two options:
- Continue college at the University of Oregon for Music Education
- Audition for a music position in Florida for one of the Disney pakrs
My dream position that I'd absolutely love to land would be a JAMMitor at Epcot. I'm a percussionist if anyone was curiousBig drum corps fan and definitely a drum corps-esque percussionist.
One of my questions to you fellow CMs and/or college graduates: Am I stupid or smart for choosing to forgo a further education to audition for Disney?
My other question for my fellow Disney fans in general: Would you like to possibly see a blog following my journey for a year to the audition for Disney? (Similar to Julie & Julia if you've seen that)

I think that's really cool! I'd love to play somewhere in Disney. Unique thing to put on your resume.
