When I showed people at work the picture of Abe, they were a little creeped out. lol. They said it was weird to see a face that looks SO REAL and then the mechanical stuff in the body. I really was just moved that this was the first "human" anamatronic and that Walt had a part in it.

| Re: Celebrations Issue 9 Like I said the pictures don't do it justice. Their mouths move in a very realistic way. The eyes were so real. I wish I had video!!!

| Re: Celebrations Issue 9 These are great pictures! Thanks! The eye and the new arm is amazing stuff. From what I understand, that eye has no physical contact points. I think it moves thanks to electromagnetics, right? I was also thinking of "Otto" - the animatronic that can "see" his audience and react accordingly. |

| Re: Celebrations Issue 9 Here's another one of the Cars. It is not as clear, but you can see how the mouth is in motion. Lightning McQueen may have been the only one who's mouth moved. I can't really remember about the others. This was amazing technology. I don't think I have ever seen anything quite like in before. (and it's not projected onto the car). In person, the mouth is seamless. You don't see the white in person. Like I said, you have to see it yourself to fully understand. ![]()
