    Best Present Ever

    DD told us this evening that she bought us annual passes for our birthdays and Mother's Day/Father's Day, respectfully. She figured she'd better tell us in case we got the bright idea to buy passes before we got to FL. So, all my friends that decide to come to WDW and want to meet, I CAN BE THERE!

    When she was telling us about the purchase, she said that she knew she couldn't just buy a pass for Mom because Mom wouldn't want to go by herself. (I piped in with, "Yes I would," and dh almost said at the same time, "Yes she would.") I am still really excited about having an annual pass, and no I won't be loaning it out to anyone should I no longer have a need to use it. I wonder what the record is for the number of times someone used an annual pass in one year?

    What a great gift, I have to show my kids this thread I've never had an annual pass so how does it work, does it activate from the time of purchase or from the first day of use? It must to be close to moving time, when is the big day??....never mind I just read your ticker

    What a fabulous gift! In fact, my brother's AP is coming up, maybe I can give him an early Christmas/birthday gift and send some money his way for it. He would be surprised!

    I checked with DD today. It starts the day we activate it by showing up at a park and show our ID's and proof of FL residency. Yes, we're getting closer to leaving. We have our inspection on furniture on Tuesday, and I believe they will check the flat soon after. We'll still be in our flat for 2 more weeks, and then we move to a rental unit for a week. The truck has already hauled away our belongings (and I'm hoping the above truck isn't ours) I'm definitely tired of cleaning and would just love to pack my suitcase and leave. Enough already!
