I wonder what the people at Wendy's would say if I just walked in and bought 64 drinks all at once. I considered it and may still do it. I have to check out Airtran's website today to see where they fly!!

My roommate is a moderately frequent fast food-er and the other night he came home with Wendys. I saw the coupon on the cup and thought of this thread and told him when he was done to wash out the cup and save it. I couldn't use it (The only places I ever fly are to and from FL from CT, and airtran doesn't fly to CT), but I thought someone here might be able to. I've only got one now, but I'll keep my eyes open for more in case one of us happens to stop at Wendy's from now on. Then maybe once I get a few more of them I can auction them off or something. Seriously though, I don't know how I would go about deciding who should get them. Maybe If I get enough I can split them amongst some of you collecting them. If more of us non-users all pitched in our unused coupons, perhaps we could help send a couple of you users (i know... bad term. It makes you sound like druggies or addicts of some sort) on a trip.

Got 2 more this weekend. Of course, my friend looked at me weird when I yelled at him when he went to throw his cup away....

That's ok. I thought I'd hit an all time low when I was at the mall & noticed a complete stranger about to throw away his cup & I asked him, "Are you going to throw that away?" & he of course said, "Yes?". I asked him if i could have it. He said yes & got his 2 friends to give me their cups too! Very nice guys!

Then... as I was driving home Sunday afternoon, I noticed a squashed yellow cup in the road. I thought to myself, I wonder if that could be a Wendy's cup. I backed up, & sure enough... it was. My DH wasn't too thrilled I'd picked it up off the street. Hey, cleaning the litter & gaining tickets at the same time!

Hey, is anyone still collecting these things? I only picked up one (yeah yeah, i know... pathetic), but I figured if anyone was actually getting close enough where one more cup would make a difference to them, maybe i could do someone a favor. Otherwise I'm likely to throw it out the next time I clean up my room. Just thinking of ya guys

I realize the promotion is done now, but I just stumbled upon this thread. Figuring the price on drinks alone vs airline tickets, that was one heckuva deal. This reminded me of the American Airlines/Jello/Pudding Cups promotion.

You got AA frequent flyer miles for every pudding cup top. A man in, I want to say, California, did the math and figured out how to beat the system. He wound up spending over $4,000 on nothing but pudding, but got almost 3.5 million frequent flyer miles.
