Character Meals

I was curious if anyone has ever eaten at the Villans Meal. I saw it listed somewhere but I haven't been able to get any info on it.

I found this info on line..... they used to have a villian meal, but they changed it!

1900 Park Fare at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort
Every Disney vacation deserves a character meal, and we think the best in the land is here at the Grand Floridian's 1900 Park Fare. This is a great buffet and we promise you'll find plenty to savor, no matter what your tastes: prime rib, roast ham, pastas, fish, fresh salads and vegetables, and much, much more. This restaurant always seems to have the best assortment of Disney characters. Last year, 1900 Park featured the Disney Villains. This year, 1900 Park Fare's character dinner has Cinderella and her storybook friends. About the only drawback to 1900 Park Fare is that it is quite noisy. But a meal here is lots of fun and you'll be sure to get enough time with all the characters to satisfy your youngsters and to provide some unforgettable photo opportunities. Ask your server to take the pictures.

We loved the Villains meal and really miss it.

One time DD and I were dining there and I was wearing a lanyard with a bunch of Cruella DeVil pins on it (she's my favorite villain). When she saw it, she came over and sat down at our table with us and proceeded to converse with us for about 10 minutes staying in character the entire time. My daughter was only 9 at the time and she thought it was hilarious.

We liked the dinner because it was something that adults could enjoy. The humor was darker and the characters seemed to have a good time, too. It's a shame that they went another way with it, especially since there are already other places to dine with the princesses.

Also, we tried to book 1900 Park Fare yesterday for August and were told that it is probably going to be closed then - but that the character meal will be held at another cafe place in the Grand Floridian instead. We booked it anyway!
