We just did the restaurant in Mexico in April. While the food was very good, the atmosphere is not. Its extremely dark in there, the tables are so close to each other, you feel like you're eating with the people next to you, and the service left alot to be desired.

oj i have to disagree. I think Mexico has maybe the best atmosphere of the restarunts in Epcot. You are sitiing on a river at night with a temple in the back. the darkness sets the mood. It is great. The food is just ok though.

The San Angel Inn. We are trying it come Sept. I love the inside of the pavilion and I want a seat by the water to wave at the boats going by. LOL
It's a Disney thing. If you understood, your only question would be "can I go?"

We are trying the Coral Reef for the first time in June.

We have been to the San Angel Inn on almost every other trip. The food is okay but definitely all Mexican fare. Nothing spectacular except, the margaritas, well they ROCK! The atmosphere is fantastic!

I greatly enjoyed the Coral Reef. The kids enjoyed watching the fish swim by and I enjoyed the food. Being from Texas, I am not ever sure about outside of Texas Mexican food. but I think it would be very nice and romantic as a meal to sit by the water and watch boats go by and wave. I like the atmostphere in there.

We eat at Coral Reef every time we go. We take advantage using the dining plan.

I enjoyed the food at Coral Reef as well, I think everyone should go at least once for the atmosphere if anything. Haven't tried San Angel yet but I've always loved the atmosphere of Mexico (the country and the pavillion!).

The Mexico pavilian is one of my favorites. The inside is beautiful, looks like your at an outdoor village.

We like Mexico too. I don't think it is all that kid friendly though. I'll never forget once when my daughter was only two, she fell asleep at the table because it was so dark and of course she had not eaten anything.
