We eat Kona for lunch (and breakfast) at least once a trip. There is always more than enough food to eat and the desserts are phenominal.
We're heading to WDW in Jan. 08 on the Dining plan, and we're considering the Kona Cafe for a new place to eat. Due to our touring plan, we might have to do Kona Cafe for lunch, but the menu doesn't look as nearly as interesting when compared to dinner.
Has anyone been there for lunch, and do you think that you could get your money's worth on the Dining plan during lunch?
Thanks for the feedback.

We actually prefer Kona Cafe for lunch as opposed to dinner. Give it a try!

The menus for lunch and dinner are so different from each other that it's almost like going to two different restaurants. Definitely head over there for lunch; it's one of my favorite restaurants in all of WDW.
It's actually a great place to go when you're at the Magic Kingdom, and you just need to have a quiet hour or two in the middle of the day. Instead of having yet another hamburger, take the monorail over to the Poly and have yourself a nice adult lunch!
