Awww, I was hopin' there was somethin' a little extra special goin' on with those. :(
Some folks would probably just "extra special" 'em up by smotherin' 'em in catsup/ketchup, I guess...!

Mine too. Holy Land Experience will be on my next trip and we would love a beach place near enough to WDW, but close enough to a Rhema church.

Golf ball sized. But it's an amuse bouche, so it's supposed to be bite-sized. Essentially the first bite that the chef uses to set the tone for the meal.

Oh, gross, we would have left the restaurant over that.

Now if that crab fritter appeared before me, I'd be happy! It looks too pretty and perfect to disturb, but I would have. :cookie:

The main dish we had at Napa Rose had sweetbreads in it. The texture was very similar to the scallops it came with. I think it's one of those foods that you psych yourself out for and think it's far worse than it actually is.

No one forces you to eat the amuse bouche, there's no harm in trying something. At least then you know if you like it or not!

It was very pretty! But it was absolutely delicious. :cookie:
I didn't eat the flower though. I'm sure it's edible. I'll try sweetbreads but I apparently draw the line at flowers
