My DD ordered that Burlee also, she loved it.
That looked gross. I am not a fan of hot breakfast foods at Disney. Minus the Waffles if they are fresh and hot.
Sausage looks wonderful, what is a Polenta? Can not tell from photo.
WELCOME BACK KAT!
No, no...you're supposed to be looking at the pancakes, not the sock!![]()
Certainly not the best pancakes I'd ever had, but they were easy to split and stayed warm on the walk back to the room. They were passable.
And thanks!
Oh...polenta is the mushy stuff on the plate. I make it sound so appetizing, no? According to wikipedia it's a dish made from boiled cornmeal. It tastes a lot better than it sounds.
Quite possibly my favorite kiosk, Paris, France:
On the left we have escargot en brioche, which in English means snails in bread. I love these little things, first time my boyfriend tried escargot and he liked them tooBUT they were overshadowed by what's on the right. That's the braised short ribs, potatoes, & Cabernet sauce. Oh. Em. Gee... Easily our favorite dish of the festival, which is funny because it was our first. I could sit on our little bench all day and have someone feed me that. So good.

I agree about the Escargot and Shortribs!!! Both AWESOME!!!
And so was...
Warm Chocolate Lava Cake with Bailey’s Ganache

Cork, Ireland Kiosk
Cornmeal, cooked until smooth. Some people would say that Polenta is the same thing as Grits, just from a different country. Other people would scoff at such a statement. People like me would say, "whatever. give me more."

I didn't know it originated in Brazil! Learn something new everyday!!
Those danish look sinful...
Next we hit up the Australian Lamb Chop:
This was good, not spectacular. It'd be a nice intro to lamb, but since it's one of my favorite things to eat (sorry sheepies..) I wasn't overly impressed. Let's just say that if I were getting it in a restaurant, I'd send it back, wayyyyyy overcooked. The sea salt on top made it pretty salty (as salt tends to do) it didn't bother me, but my boyfriend didn't really enjoy that. So ehhhhh, I liked it because I have a thing for lamb, but it had soooo much more potential!

Shrimp & Papaya Salad from Thailand:
I hated this. When I heard papaya salad I thought crisp, cool, refreshing...but they put in some kind of Thai chili which I totally wasn't expecting and I have "sensitive" taste buds (according to my boyfriend) so anything with a slight kick, I pronounce really spicy. Usually I just avoid spicy foods, but I wasn't anticipating this being spicy! My boyfriend on the other hand loved it and I think he was quite pleased that I didn't! (More for him!!!)
