Not sure exactly what month it opened, but this is Via Napoli just shortly after it had opened while I was there in October of '10. Prosciutto, cantaloupe, and some leafy thing I don't remember. All I know is there was too many leaves and the prosciutto needed to be in smaller cuts.
I'm not getting the Rave's from this place. Unless it tasted excellent I'd be annoyed if that appeared before me at those prices.

Good last one Kat. That looks like a perfect snack for fall. I'd love that Chili.

If I remember correctly, that pizza cost $16. It wasn't exactly worth $16, but I've certainly had worse for more at the parks. I was there with a group of friends and they wanted to go there. We walked in in about 15-20 but that's beside the point. I'm also understanding of the fact that it was a new restaurant and they were still figuring things out. Very nice lookin restaurant on the inside though. I think the got hung up a little bit on the fact that they're using "traditional wood-burning ovens" to fire these bad boys (which the well-done edges are the result of these ovens) and that they're trying to stay authentic to Italy with Via Napoli. Would I go back? No, probably not. At least not regularly.

I was at Via Napoli twice in December. I really enjoyed it. My cousins got the same pizza pictured above, but it looked different...at risk of breaking the rules *gasp* and posting two pictures today, here it is:

Personally, I really liked Via Napoli. I thought it was great and I'd definitely go back.

Now see yours looks way different than mine. Not nearly as many greens on it. It felt like I was eating a forest. And the six sheets of prosciutto came off one by one as I ate it. So I had a little bit of cheese with a whole sheet of prosciutto.

This was my Quattro Fromagio pizza that I split with my Mom. (Note this is the "individual" size...lol!)

Now that pizza looks a better Kat. I've seen so many pictures of Pizza's and the consistency seems to be very inconsistent at best.
Saw one elsewhere of a Peperoni one that half the pizza was an air bubble and burnt on one side. I would have sent that one back.

Via Napoli, the first week they opened in August. Pepperoni individual looks charred but it's not just a little on the edge. It was very good:)http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_fRNSod1WfT...00/VN_3221.jpg

More Via Napoli...this is from my second visit. I had the Lasagna Verde...I cut into it before I remembered the picture!! This was heavenly. You would think it would be super heavy but it wasn't, it was light and delicious! I loved it!

Droooool. I'd order that before the pizza.

And then there is more drool. Such lovely creamers of chocolate and whipped cream. Who needs the pizza.

No joke.

More from Via Napoli...the "Ugly but Good"
http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/u...101205_144.jpg
BTW: Both times I ate here in December we were able to walk up with less than a 5 minute wait each time. They move you through pretty quickly, so it's got decent availability. The second time we had tried to walk up at 5 other restaurants with no luck, until we got to Via Napoli (hence the 2 trips in 3 days!) Both were for lunch.
