I'd like to know the same thing. We're going to the Polynesian in July and want to try the Tonga Toast as well.
Ok I know that at the polynesian they have Tonga Toast at the Kona Cafe and at the quick service spot. Is there any difference between the two types. I know at the quick service spot it is $5 and at Kona Cafe it is about $10. Is the price difference due to quality or size of the portion, or is it just because one is at a nice looking restaraunt and the other is at a quick service spot?? I will be at Disney World for a week starting Feb. 14th and am going to make a point to get my first taste of Tonga Toast. I just want to make sure I get the best version of it.

Dec 10-19: Port Orleans French Quarter
I ate the Tonga toast @ Rain Forest Restaurant @ AK for breakfast. Was very good and I'm a very picky eater. There is a pic of it at allears.net if you want to see what it looks like.
Yeah from the looks of the toast that probably won't be such a bad thing.

There is nothing different.., one just doesnt include bacon or sausage or whatever you want as a side, but you can add it on. I've eaten them both from Kona and captain cook's. I like going to captain cooks better cuz you don't need a reservation, but they are the same basically. They are the same size. As far as I can tell. The one at Kona might be slightly bigger, but the one at Captain cooks is more than enough for me!
