Dining in each park
Going to Disney at the end of July and I am starting to think about where to eat. If you had to pick one restaurant from each park to have a sit down meal, what would they be?
WDW Marathon '12
WDW Goofy '13
Magic Kingdom - Crystal Palace
Epcot - Le Cellier (if you can't get reservations go for San Angel Inn or Le Chefs De France)
Studios- 50s Prime Time or Hollywood Brown Derby (depending on how much you want to spend)
Animal Kingdom - Yak & Yeti (only option in park)
Upcoming Trips to WDW:
Dec 6-10: Disney Wonder
Dec 10-19: Port Orleans French Quarter
Magic Kingdom - Liberty Tree Tavern
Epcot - Garden Grill
Studios- Hollywood & Vine
Animal Kingdom - Yak & Yeti
I'm a big fan of the "family style" meals, which both LTT and GG are. Hollywood and Vine is a very good buffet. And as wdfan noted, your only "in-park" sitdown option for AK is the Yak & Yeti.
Magic Kingdom: I really do not like any of the restaurants but If I had to pick I would say Tony's Town Square.
EPCOT: Le Cellier
Disney's Hollywood Studios: Brown Derby, They have a good steak and I have heard good things about the Cob Salad.
Animal Kingdom: Yak and Yeti, I have not eaten there but it looks very interesting.
I will go one further and say a resort restaurant I would eat at:
Jiko: The Filet and Mac and Cheese is great.

MK - I've only been to Liberty Tree Tavern and I wouldn't go back. I want to try Tony's Town Square, so I say that one.
Epcot - Le Cellier
MGM - 50's Prime Time, Mama Melrose or Sci Fi
AK - DYING to try Yak & Yeti!
AAADisneyFan Eleven Visits Since 2003!!
MK - Liberty Tree Tavern
Epcot - Teppan Edo, Restaurant Marrakesh, or Le Cellier
MGM - The Hollywood Brown Derby
AK - Yak & Yeti
BTW, AK does have more than Yak & Yeti as table service options. I'm not a fan of the Rain Forest Cafe (I've been to 4 of them around the USA); and, I haven't been to Tusker House since it was changed from counter service to a buffet. We enjoyed Tusker House when it was a counter service option.
always plotting, planning, and looking forward to our next adventure...
Magic Kingdom - I guess I would say Crystal Palace, they have good character interaction and good food selections. Though I just had lunch at the Plaza Restaurant and had a really good chicken and strawberry salad.
EPCOT - My favorite was Alfredo's (loved their fettucini) so now that is gone I think my next choice would be Teppan Edo ,although I never ate here but I've eaten many times at Teppanyaki and I believe it's along the same lines.
MGM - tough one, not overly fond of any the the restaurants here, maybe SciFi for lunch and Brown Derby for dinner.
Animal Kingdom - Why Yack and Yeti of course (since there is nothing else to choose from). Love their lettuce cups but their fried rice needs a little work.
oops, just read Amanda's post about Yack and Yeti not being the only counter service, she's right I totally forgot about Rain Forrest (and you should too, I wouldn't bother with it) and also forgot about the Tusker House turning Table service. As a matter of fact I got confused while I was in Animal Kingdom, I thought that Yack and Yeti took over the Tusker House and started walking way out of the way to get there before we realized that Yack and Yeti was in Asia NOT Africa. So did Yack and Yeti take over another restaurant or wasn't there anything there before??

Well my choices have changed since my son was born. It used to be we enjoyed some of the quieter sit down type places. Now it's all about character dining. This trip in May here's what we're doing...
Epcot - Garden Grill (has been a fave of mine since even before DS was born)
MGM - Play 'N Dine at Hollywood and Vine
MK - Crystal Palace
There's no place that we're particularly fond of at AK so our 4th day's dining is at Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary.
Sometimes all you need is a reminder that out there lies a better place... a better world... a Walt Disney World. Visited In: 1983, 1988, 1989 x2, 1991, 1992, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006 (passholder), 2007 (x2), 2008, 2009 (x2), 2010, 2011 (x2)
