As I've posted we were their opening week. I've heard overwhelming agreement to how good the sit down is. Take out being a different story and very pricey unless you are on the DP.

I think it is more the luck of the draw in most restaurants who your server is and how fresh the food is when you happen to be there more than personal taste. The ones I worry about is when the majority of the reviews are poor.

Most ADR for groups like that are split up in neighboring tables. Y&Y has many dining rooms in that restaurant, so maybe you might get a room to yourselves if 40 seats are still available.

My opinion is the design is the best AK has to offer. It is truly unique.

I ate at counter service in January and enjoyed it. I'm hoping to get an ADR for our December trip.

I ate there twice in Jan. and it was great - its really nice to have another full service restaurant in the AK. Try the sparkling sake - its really neat and delicious!

I'm new to the forums and a little late on this thread, but if anyone is still reading, I LOVED Yak & Yeti. The Fried Wontons for dessert were AMAZING!! Fried cream cheese wontons, pineapple slices and ice cream with a caramel/vanilla glaze... if you like the combo of sweet and salty together it's a MUST . Hope you enjoy!

Okay, I posted earlier that we were going on April 6. I really liked the food and we were seated upstairs next to the window. It was great to watch the people walk by. My husband got the ribs and he liked them better than the ones he got at Whispering Canyon.

My family ate her over the Easter break. I really liked the decor and the food was fantastic. We sat upstairs right over the entrance so we could watch the guests as they were heading towards everest. You have a few of the lake as well.

The service was good and we thought the kids menu was what you'd expect for a Disney restuarant. Give it a try.

Wow, Y&Y sounds delightful! It's definitely going onto my ADR list for MouseFest.
