Another Twist to Free Dining

Here is another twist to the Free Dining Plan reported on by All Ears:

Guests who use the Disney Dining Plan or Disney Deluxe Dining
Plan between August 24 and September 27, 2008, are eligible for
a special benefit. If you choose to dine in Quick Service
locations using Table Service entitlements between August 24
September 27, 2008, you will receive from the cashier a Disney
Dining Plan Snack or Merchandise Certificate (subject to
availability). The certificate is redeemable for EITHER a) two
snacks, both redeemed at the same time and at the same
participating location (redeemable at any Quick Service or
Outdoor Foods location or participating Merchandise locations)
OR b) one Sling Mesh Bag (design may vary) (valid at one of the
participating merchandise locations listed on the back of the
certificate).

I think the past 2 times we were at WDW during the Free Dining Promotion, Disney has offered some kind of "incentive" to get people to use Table Service credits at Quick Service establishments.

We've always been on the annual pass so we've never gotten to take advantage of the free dining promotion and we always put our Table Service credits to good use
