Serious Abuse of the Disney Deluxe Dining Plan

We, myself a 42-year-old, single father and my darling 6-year-old daughter, are going to Disney World from October 18 - 23. My daughter has told me that the best part of all of our previous trips has been the characters especially the character meals. So, I've upgraded to the Deluxe Dining Plan. When reviewing this dining plan, keep in mind that when we do Disney we do it like commandos... we have a plan and we see EVERYTHING. When we make it back to our resort each night either our heads hit the pillow and we fall asleep or we fall asleep and then our heads hit the pillow... either way, same effect.

    Day 1 [Magic Kingdom]
1900 Park Fare (Dinner at 4:45 PM)

    Day 2 [Magic Kingdom]
    Ohana's (Breakfast at 9:20 AM)
Cinderellas Royal Table (Dinner at 5:40 PM)

    Day 3 [Magic Kingdom]
Cape May (Breakfast at 8:40 AM)
Crystal Palace (Early Dinner at 3:15 PM)
Chef Mickey's (Dinner at 8:50 PM)

    Day 4 [Hollywood Studios]
    Boma (Breakfast at 8:50 AM)
Hollywood & Vine (Early Dinner at 3:30 PM)
Hoop Dee Doo Review (Dinner at 9:30 PM)

    Day 5
    [EPCOT]
Akershus - Princess Storybook (Breakfast at 9:55 AM)
Garden Grill (Dinner at 5:50 PM)

    Day 6 [Animal Kingdom]
Donald's Safari (Breakfast at 8:05 AM)

We still have two meal credits left and all the snacks for fillers. This will be a packed six days!

Actually, this looks like one of the best dining itineraries I've seen, way to use that dining plan, Dad. That was a smart bt of planning and you have found a way to capitalize on the plan, hope you have a great trip.

WOW! You really do want to see those characters! You should have added Liberty Tree Tavern because in Janurary the character dining goes bye-bye. What you have is great! I haven't been to all those places!

You have some fantastic meals planned. We were not impressed with the food at Cinderella's Royal Table, but we ate there many years ago. It is fun to see the restaurant.

Remember to pack in some down time, especially on those late dinner evenings. A six year old will need a bit of a rest to make it through to be able to actually sit upright after a busy day; especially when those busy days keep coming and coming and coming. You don't want to be one of the parents trying to calm a small child having a melt-down by day 3. (I saw a couple of children starting a day with a melt-down last Friday. Not pretty.)

Well, I thought I had planned a trip abusing the Deluxe plan but I didn't plan breakfasts other than Whispering Canyon on the last day and Spoodles on other morning. Going to keep that one "light."

    Day One
    Dinner- Artist Point

    Day Two
    Lunch- Liberty Tree Tavern
    Dinner- Le Cellier

    Day Three
    Lunch- Yak and Yeti
    Dinner - Chef Mickey's

    Day Four
    Lunch- Teppan Edo
    Dinner- Garden Grill

    Day Five
    Lunch-Sci Fi
    Dinner- OHana's

    Day Six
    Lunch- Crystal Palace
    Dinner- 50's Prime Time

    Day Seven
    Lunch- Biertgarten
    Dinner- Hoop Dee Doo

    Day Eight
    Breakfast- Whispering Canyon
(Rest of family goes home while oldest son gets to stay with me)
    Dinner- Restaurant Marrakesh

    Day Nine
    Breakfast- Spoodles
Dinner (I don't remember where- new list is at home)

    Day Ten
    Lunch Brown Derby

Can't wait to make good use of the money I will be spending on the Deluxe plan! Next trip will probably be a lot of counter services with one or two table dinners.
