    Dining in Downtown Disney

I am flying down for my sister's graduation in Dec. from UCF. We plan on going to eat after the ceremony and my sister suggested we go to Downtown Disney or the Marketplace since I am not going to be there long enough to go to a park. I haven't eaten in any of the restaurants in ages (except for hubby's fave Capn' Jacks). Anyone have suggestions on where to eat for a nice celebration lunch or dinner??

I have only eaten at Rainforest Cafe and I loved it. It would be a little loud for any kind of socializing but the atmosphere is upbeat!

I always eat at Fulton's when I am there.
It really is the best and would be lovely for a celebration.

My brother likes Bongo's but I have never been. I have eaten at Earl of Sandwich and Fulton's.

I've been to Planet Hollywood, House of Blues and Bongo's, out of those three, Bongo's might be the best, less noisy probably.

Since it's a special occasion, lunch at Fulton's would get my vote. The Earl of Sandwich does have great sandwiches and would be faster. Raglan Road has some good sandwiches as well and for lunch would probably be not as crowded as later in the day. I've not eaten at House of Blues or Bongos.

My vote goes for Fulton. It would be a nice place to celebrate and it has a nice view off the river.

    England - too far away!
House of Blues for the food, Rainforest Cafe for the atmosphere.

Rainforest Cafe would be my vote, just because of the atmosphere and the large variety of menu options. Really, any restuarant is good there. The only one I wouldn't recommend is Planet Hollywood. I've been there a couple of times and, while it's neat to see all the movie memorabilia, it's dirty and extremely overpriced - you can get the same or better food at a counter service restaurant for much less money.

Buffalo, New York- too far and too cold to be remotely considered anywhere near central Florida :(
I wouldn't go to Planet Hollywood-the themeing is really neat, but the food isn't good. I like Rain Forest Cafe'- never ate at the one in DTD but at other ones.

We at Wolfgang Puck's on our last trip in Feb. and I thought my steak was the best I've ever had. It was great and the service was excellent.

I would have to agree with Fultons unless there is a special show at House of Blues that the guest of honor would like to see. Other then that Fultons would be my first choice
It's kind of fun to do the impossible!
