Wow! Thanks for sharing the pictures! Pictures are sometimes worth more than a thousand words!

Thanks for the post. Had not thought of Tusker House for our next trip, but I am now.

Interested to read your comments about the kids buffet. Are there 'adventurous' choices for kids as well? And is this true for other places in WDW?

Sorry, I didn't pay much attention to what was on the kid's buffet. I guess I was too excited about all the other stuff.
I did see many children walking around to the main buffet stations, though. They are, of course, welcome to anything that is on the main buffet.
I should have mentioned that, along with all the fancy "pastry" style deserts, there were also cookies, chocolate cake, and doughnuts. Saw a lot of kids munching on the doughnuts.

The Tusker House is one of the forgotten jewels in AK. It is tucked away away by the Safari and so many people walk right by it. I have seldom found it to be crowded but it is my favorite place to eat when in the AK.

It looks really good. I want to try it but the rest of my family doesn't think they'll like the food there.

As was already mentioned, it does have some food for the non-adventurous/picky types. Have you showed them the menu? Mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, roast beef, etc.

I was really impressed with this buffet when we ate there in December. I thought it had a wide enough variety to please picky, adventurous, vegetarian, and meat lovers. And, it kept this carbohydrate fan happy too.

Ah, man! Weren't those breads amazing? My favs were the mango & chocolate bread, and the orange bread!
The more I think about this place, the more I want to go back!
