Best Place For Cocktails/Music?

Without Pleasure Island

where's the best place to bring my friends/family for drinks (may dancing?) at night?

I'm planning a small wedding with immediate family for Dec. '09. The Boardwalk maybe? I'm looking for a fun lounge type atmosphere

I love JellyRolls over at the Boardwalk, the dueling pianos are great

, it's alot of fun with a big group.

We will be staying at the new Bay Lake Tower @ Contemporary and I'm pretty sure they will have a nice lounge at the top. *fingers crossed*

Dancing is tough now that PI closed. As GIOny mentioned Jelly Rolls is an option (I think about the only option left now).

I'd recommend Ragalan Road. They do have a bar in there, so you can go in for a drink & not have to order food. The Irish dancers are pretty good.

The bar @ AKL is nice (Victoria Falls I believe) but that is a bit of a haul if you are at the contemporary. No dancing, but the lodge is beautiful, and overlooking Boma, it is just a nice place w/a good feel. Nice to sit, relax & have a couple cocktails.

There's a nice bar at The Wave, right in the Contemporary, but no music there to speak of.

The Boardwalk had Jellyrolls as previously mentioned (get there close to opening time if you want to get tables - it does fill up) and also the Atlantic Dance Hall. I haven't been inside the Dance Hall, but it was blasting pop/dance music out the doors when I went by last week. There's no cover charge there to get in; Jellyrolls does have a charge ($10 I think?).

I have heard good things about YeeHaw Bob's show at Port Orleans.

Also, if anyone is a Beatle's fan, the band the British Invasion is terrific in the UK at Epcot. And there's beer around the corner. Grab a beer, walk on over and the dancing is up to you.
