Mickey's Backyard BBQ - Opinions Please

Currently, first on our wish list for our 9/20-9/27 trip, is Mickey's Backyard BBQ on Sunday evening 9/20, our day of arrival.

This one of our "let's try places we've never been" choices. Last year we tried Hoop-De-Doo for the first time, also on our arrival day, and loved it.

So, to those of you who have eaten at Mickey's Backyard BBQ, I'd appreciate your review of your experience.

We did it in 05 its the best character interaction we've had DS danced with Minie, DD danced with Chip & DW danced with Goofy it was great. The characters stay out for a ong time & the food is great mostlikely the same as hoop dee doo. I think its great for your 1st night it will help start your trip with magic.

I've done Mickey's Backyard BBQ once, and enjoyed it. It was a lot of fun, and the food was pretty good. I definitely plan on doing it again.

We loved Mickey's Backyard BBQ. We went to it almost two years ago in September. My only complaint is that it was hot, since it is outside in a covered area. Our then 4-year-old had a ball. The characters do stay out and dance a lot. I also remember a very good country band and also someone who did rope tricks. The food is good, too. Definitely a must do. Have fun!
