Tusker House, Yak n Yeti or Picnic in the Park?

Right now DH & I have an ADR for Tusker House during our Sept. trip that gets us prefered seating to the afternoon Nemo show.

HOWEVER... I"m totally on the fence here. We've eaten at Tusker House & are interested in trying something new. But I'm concerned that Nemo is so popular that w/out the preferd seating we may not get to see the show (or we'll spend 2 hours in queue just to get seats).

Has anyone done the Tusker House seating? Did it work well? And how are crowds now that the show has been running a while? If we skip Tusker House & did one of the other 2, would we still get seats?

Any input from folks would be much appriciated!

I love the Yak & Yeti! The food is excellent and the decor is so wonderfully themed! I would take my chances and just get in line for the Nemo show. Depending on when in September you are going, and what day of the week you are planning to be in the Animal Kingdom - I don't think you will have any problem getting into one of the shows.

I've never been to Tusker house, but any time I've seen Nemo we've gone about half an hour- 45 minutes early and had no problem getting seats... and the last time was a year ago. It might also depend on the time of the year though? When Ive gone its been either May or the beginning of August....
If you have never been to Yak and Yeti I highly recommend it, its in my top 3 favourite restaurants and is I think the only meal of the 11 table service my friend and I went to last year where we both ate every single last bite of dinner and dessert!

We have also had no problem getting into Nemo for the late afternoon show by arriving 30 minutes before showtime.

I can't really help as I've never eaten at any of the places, BUT I think you can take your chances with Nemo. I was surprised that they were offering a package with it because I've never seen it that crowded. Maybe if I were going on a holiday?

Re: Tusker House, Yak n Yeti or Picnic in the Park?

I have had breakfast at Tusker House and it was good but not lunch. I haven't had the picnic in the park thing either. I love Yak and Yeti and can't wait to go again. We lucked out and got in line for Nemo (it was May) just a few moments before they started to open the doors and had no problem.

I would look over the menus and see what really looks good and make a decision based on what food you would like. Or if Nemo is a MUST do- then do Tusker House or decide to wait in line.
