Grapefruit Cake

I've heard the Grapefruit Cake at The Brown Derby is not to be missed. We've already made our ADRs and don't want to change them. Does anyone know if we can go there and get a slice of cake to go?

Thanks,

Rene

Only 19 days until we leave for WDW!!

Re: Grapefruit Cake

I don't know if you can get one to-go at Brown Derby but, a couple of years ago, I was able to ask them at Starring Rolls. The castmember went in the back and got a piece for me. Maybe someone will come along and give us a more recent answer.

Re: Grapefruit Cake

Great tip on Starring Rolls. Wish I had thought of that when I was there in June. I'll remember that for next time.

Re: Grapefruit Cake

here is the link to the recipe on allears.net
Recipe - Grapefruit Cake - Brown Derby

the recipe i have in my "Delicious Disney" cookbook is slightly different, but I can type it up here if you want. It probably won't taste the same as Disney's though : )
