Dining Reservation Question

Of these restaurants, which ones will I need to put on a credit card at the time I call and book.

T-Rex (Downtown Disney)
Crystal Palace (Magic Kingdom)
Hollywood & Vine Fantasmic Package (Hollywood Studios)
Cinderella Royal Table Dinner (Magic Kingdom)
Rainforest Cafe (Animal Kingdom)

Thanks!

Re: Dining Reservation Question

The only one that you should have to give a credit card number to hold is Cinderella's Royal Table. They used to require the same for the Fantasmic Dinner Package, but now that you can book that on the Disney Dining Plan, I'm not sure that's still a requirement.

Re: Dining Reservation Question

Cinderella's Royal Table should be the only one that will require a deposit.

Just an FYI, I have the dining plan for my upcoming trip, and when trying to book the Spirit of Aloha Luau through the online system, it kept wanting to charge me in full rahter than just place a hold on my card. I called the reservation line and the rep explained that they've been having issues with folks who are on the DP trying to book signature restauarants online. If you call, you will simply have to have a hold put on your credit card, but won't be charged.

This may not happen to you, but just in case it does, you'll know what to do. :-)

When you're 90 days out from the first day of your vacation, you can then book the next 10 days of your vacation. If you're staying 14 days, you'll have to call back when you hit 90 days from day 11 on your trip. If you're staying 7 days, on the first day of your trip, you'll be able to book your entire trip's ADRs. Hope that makes sense! ...oh, and this only applies if you're staying on Disney property!!!
