Maybe the Top of the World or Wave since you are at BLT. If you are toruing the resorts that late morning / afternoon, then the resort restaurant at the first resort you tour should work out timing-wise.
We will be arriving on December 10 at 10 a.m. and are going to MVMCP that evening. We will be touring the resorts to look at Christmas decorations during the day. We are having a tough time finding a place for lunch outside the parks. We will be staying at Bay Lake Towers. Any suggestions for lunch on this first day?
Thanks

Well, if you will be touring the hotels to look at all the decorations, make sure the Wilderness Lodge is on your list! And if you go there, the Whispering Canyon Cafe is one of my favorites, and you can usually walk right in for lunch without a reservation.
If your going to be on the EPCOT/DHS side, the Boardwalk and The Beach Club have a lot of options as well, about 6 resturaunts between them! Either way, I'm sure you'll find something good, its hard to find a bad meal :-)

Beaches & Cream at the Beach Club!!! It is where we pretty much always go for lunch on our first day! Best burgers on property hands down and some of the best desserts! Try the No Way Jose'! Yummmmmmmmm
What about Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary?
That way you can start right off with a great big hug from the Mouse himself!

I would suggest the Kona Cafe myself at the Poly
How about at late Ohana Breakfast?
I've had two great lunches at the Grand Floridian Cafe. Relaxing, great view and just enhance the menu.

Adult daycare for the kid inside you.
We did the Yuletide Tour last year and after it was done had lunch at the Grand Floridian Cafe. It was lovely.
