Tonga Toast at Captain Cooks & Coffee at the Kona Bar

Is the Tonga Toast served at Captain Cooks at the Poly as good as what is served at Kona? We are avoiding sit down meals with our two year old, and want to try the Tonga Toast. Also, is the Kona Coffee Bar close to Captain Cooks? A great cup of coffee sounds like it would go good with a big slice of the toast.

I took a friend to WDW a few years ago and someone had recommended that she try the Tonga Toast. She got sick as heck that night, probably from all of the grease.

While I haven't tried the Tonga Toast from Captain Cook's, I can tell you that I wouldn't like it as much. What really makes Tonga Toast for me is the Strawberry Compote...only available at Kona.

The Kona Coffee Bar is located right next to Kona (the restaurant.) It's right upstairs from Captain Cook's, so it would definitely be feasible to grab a cup of joe and enjoy it downstairs!

I think hands down Kona is one of the best places to eat in WDW.
