Talking Epcot 2009 International Food and Wine Festival

I went to the food and wine festival this year and really enjoyed it. The last time I was there for the festival was in 2007. I didn't really try any of the food. But this time I tried tons of diffrent things. My three favorite were the chicken and rice from purto rico, a lamb chop from Australia, and port pot stickers from china. But my three favorite standa were Purto rico, South Africa, and Cork Ireland. I really enjoyed the festival and I wanted to know if any of you really enjoyed it this year. Weather it be a certain food item, the way a kiosk looked, or just in general. What was your opinon on the 2009 Epcot International Food and Wine Festival?:cookie :

Re: Epcot 2009 International Food and Wine Festival

This was my third year in a row going to F&W. I think this year especially the quality of the food was exceptional. Even when we were there and it was ridiculously crowded (seriously, worse than Christmastime!) the CMs working the booth were churning out the food and were well organized...I was impressed!

My favorite item by FAR was the short ribs at the Paris, France kiosk. My favorite dessert was the bread pudding from New Orleans

I have pictures that I've been posting under the "Post a Disney Dining Food Picture a Day" thread, come enjoy!

Re: Epcot 2009 International Food and Wine Festival

This year was my second time at the Food and Wine Festival, I went 2 years ago for the first time. I really have enjoyed it both times and we like to try lots of different dishes. But I also have some definite favorites from this year. In no particular order they were 1.Grilled Beef Skewer with Chimichurri and Boniato Puree from Buenos Aires, Argentina 2.Snapper Escabeche from Barcelona, Spain 3.The sushi in Japan 4.Braised Short ribs in Cabernet with Mashed Potatoes from Paris, France. 5.Canadian Cheddar Cheese Soup from Canada. There were alot of really good choices this year.

I really wish I had not eaten at crystal palace the day I tried the cheddar cheese soup because I herd it was one of the best dishes at the festival. I was really full and I could not enjoy the soup.
