Flying Fish at Boardwalk

Hi!
Has anyone eaten at the Flying Fish?
Did you like it?
If you have children 10-13, (which are considered adults)
would they enlarge a kids order to adult?
This is on the dining plan and because of certain circumstances
it would be fine for us just to use the 2 adult credits.

Re: Flying Fish at Boardwalk

I went about a year ago and liked it but I was also disappointed. My food could have been warmer. Not sure if it was hot and the server forgot about us or what. Plus our server was a little off. Not one of the best I've had. But also saying that I would love to try it again sometime.

We ate there on our trip in October 2008 and it was great. Our server was Bob, ask for him if you can. Our hostess told us he was the best server and the most fun...he was.

We didn't go with any kids but I saw kids in there with families and think they would enjoy it too.

The food was great!

I haven't eaten there recently. It's good, but I think it just got entirely too expensive. I mean, if I'm spending that kind of money, I want really great food, not just good.

I prefer Jiko or Citricos if you're going to be using 2 credits.

I echo the PP with Jiko over Flying Fish if you are using two credits.

I haven't eaten at FF in awhile, but I remember enjoying it. I do remember the pineapple upside down cake martini...

Re: Flying Fish at Boardwalk

I ate there in November and I also liked it but didn't love it. The food quality wasn't as good as I thought it should be for the prices they charge. Don't make the mistake that I did, I misread the meal plan and I thought it said that on 2 credit meals an appetizer was included, so my DH and I ordered some shrimp appetizer for $17.00 each (which I ended up not liking and I love shrimp) and it ended up on our bill. When I asked the waiter about it he told me only children's appetizers were included. That was totally my fault for not reading it right but it didn't help with the overall experience.

I have no firsthand knowledge, but one of my friends told me "good food but low value." Take that for whatever it's worth.
