I've heard recently that Coral Reef had supposedly gone through an adjustment to it's offerings.
Can anyone confirm or deny this? Our previous visit to Coral Reef a couple years ago left us disappointed. My CM daughter has made Coral Reef one of our ADRs for our upcoming trip in a couple weeks. Should we expect anything different? Anything better?
I ate here last year and had a fantastic experience. We hadn't been in many years because the last couple of times were awful. However, this past time was flawless. We had an excellent server, sat right next to the aquarium, and the meals were fantastic. I had the mahi mahi with pineapple chutney over jasmine rice. Aside from my Filet at Le Cellier it was the best meal I had the entire trip. My brother and dad don't eat fish so they both had the strip steak and said it was great. My mom had the salmon and also said that was excellent. We made sure to make ADR's for Coral Reef for out upcoming trip in August and actually almost made them for two nights but there were places we wanted to try for the first time. Allears.net has the menu that was updated as of September. I would check it out to make sure that there is something you like!
We went there last year and had a decent meal. Our last meal there was quite a few years ago when I was still a child, and I remember almost nothing about the meal due to my age and how long ago it was.
The service was good, the food was good; the only knock I can give it was that the portions were small for the price.
