What is the best time for a reservation at California Grill (or Narcoose's) if you want to see the fireworks during dinner? My anniversary falls during our trip to WDW and i want to book reservations for that night so we can have the nice romantic backdrop. Not sure how to plan out dinner reservations though.
That's a tough one. Your dining experience at California Grill will last about 2 hours, so go from there. Book early early early. The time slots around the time of the fireworks go fast. Even if you cannot get a table at the time you would like, you can always go to the viewing area at California Grill. It's a beautiful site.

The nice thing about the California Grill is that they expect everyone to get up and go outside to look at the fireworks (unless you have a windown view) so they time your dinner appropriately, it was really nice, I never felt rushed. Just call and see what times are all booked up. Those would have been the best times.
Just set your WDW’s trip schedule then find out the fireworks schedule during your trip.
Now, you reserve your ideal seat in California Grill and enjoy the anniversary party.

Thanks all! Sadly, when i went to book reservations last month (almost 4 months before my trip) there were no Cali Grill times anywhere close to fireworks (the latest was 5:30). Narcoossee's is more up my wife's alley anyway (and mine) and we scored reservations there at 8:30 so we're going to go early and catch Wishes from the GF pier!
Don't give up..call everyday to see if anyone canceled. I've been on the phone EVERYDAY for 3 weeks solid checking for a open reservation at LeCellier and finally got one today.
