I just tried booking online for a table at Cali Grill and Narcoose's the night of my anniversary but neither had any options available during the fireworks or even 2 hours before. Cali Grill only has 9 pm (too late) and 5:30 (too early). Narcoose's has 8:30. I'm wondering if I chose that, which I know is after the fireworks, if you can still watch the fireworks from either a lounge or anywhere else on the premises if we got there earlier.
Just go to the dock that's next to Narcoossee's. They pump in the music.
I think Beci has touched on this before in the Question segments. If I remember rightly if ur booking was early for the fireworks, u could show ur receipt to the CM at the front of the restaurant and they would let you onto the balcony.
But having never gone to Cali Grill ever or done it myself, please double check with her or Lou before you try it :)
When is your anniversary? If it's during the summer months when it stays daylight later, fireworks are usually at about 9pm and some days 10pm, so it may be that 8:30 is a good time. I think I would go ahead and make that reservation and check the activity schedule closer to that day. If you show up earlier for your reservation, say 30 mins, you "may" be able to be seated earlier.
They will let you back up to the viewing platform later that night, if you had dinner at the California Grill earlier.
I have seen the fireworks from both restaurants - and they are both great!!
Narcoosee's has a lovely covered deck around the outside of the restaurant with benches, and it is the perfect vantage point for the fireworks. Go inside and get yourself a delightful beverage at the bar, and then head out for the fireworks show. They play the music and everything!!
Be sure to let your waitstaff know it is your anniversary!!
Thanks all! I booked the 8:30 so I think i'm going to do as many of you suggested and arrived at Narcoose's early for a dockside viewing before heading in for dinner. It's a better restaurant option for my wife anyway (as she has many food allergies and stays away from pork and red meats).
I have seen the fireworks from the back of narcoosees (it is like the little boardwalk behind it) and they put the music and everything it was beautiful.
