New Dining User Interface, What do you think?

Playing around with the new interface (I know because it's a daily visit from me) while looking for some last minute ADRs... I like it, already much more information than before:

"No times available from 5:30pm-9:30pm on 6/8/10"

... That is great and saves me multiple look ups.. Now for the auto suggestions... keep playing with it.

Wow, filter list with available time(S) for and close to the day/time you specifified. Sweet.

Strange.... selcting, "Start Here" for CRT redirected me to the old interface then when through the same ol', same ol' and got no availability for the time specified in the initial search.

However, selectign the "Reserve" here button (for those restaurants that had it available (CRT did not)) and started step 2 of a new UI, workflow process/steps...

Seemed like just a redudant search UI but then some of the places did go through a new process... will keep playing and stop posting

It's about the new online reservation system. Right now it's a beta, which is probably why it switches back and forth. Hopefully it's improved!

I used the new interface on Sunday night to book 7 nights of reservations for our October trip and it worked mostly well. There's an odd bug in the system which may or may not be from the Safari web browser, but every time I used to pull down menu to isolate my time to either "Dinner" or say "7:30 pm" it would jump back to "Breakfast" and i'd have to do it a second time.

Otherwise i zipped through them all and pretty much got everything i wanted (had to get creative with some times).

I used it Sunday (5/30) morning and liked it. Might even say impressed. After I got Le Cellier done I started experimenting. I like how you can specify a park and time and you can see EVERY restaurants openings. I also had some glitches with the system having to redo either B L D and the time wanted. Minor technicality. Overall, huge huge improvement in my opinion. Good job Disney.
